Parliament of Owls
KACC Presents the KSU
The Parliament of Owls have settled into downtown Kennesaw. Created by Kennesaw State University students as part of their two-dimensional design classes with Professors Kelly Thames and Christopher Hall, over 40 owls can be seen greeting people around town during November.
Sponsored by the Kennesaw Art and Culture Commission, the project was led by Valerie Dibble, a KACC commissioner and an art professor at KSU. “Speaking as a downtown resident of Kennesaw with children and grandchildren, it’s a very family-friendly, fun project that people will enjoy,” stated Dibble. “We encourage everyone to stop by and take a selfie with one of the owls then post it #kennesawart.”
